About Me

Audio 2 Riot. Internet musician and the Bay Area independent music community's OWN Patrick Lew's new Solo Musician project and Alternative to CREATING music in Band of Asians. UNDER CONSTRUCTION!
Audio Riot. Music. SF State University. Garage Band of Local Musicians.
Audio Riot is the Bay Area indepedent music community's Indie/Punk band of 2 local musicians so far. An Asian guy playing all the musical instruments creating the music in the home recording studio using the computer programs playing guitar, screaming and the occasional bass guitar creating music that's Thrash Punk with music being the Audio Solution to the hobby/interest of many (Audio) and rebelling against the personal life issues such as School, Work and Behind the Music (Riot). And a White girl playing a drum kit. There might be some other local musicians joining this Indie band called Audio Riot soon maybe. But it's MUSIC of 2 friends who have associations with the Bay Area punk music community. An Asian guy (Patrick Lew) and White Girl (Kelsey Mitchell).
Audio 2 Riot is currently Patrick's Alternative solution to Band of Asians' music. Music as a hobby/interest. First off, the Audio Riot will be musicians Patrick met at SF State University or CSU East Bay to get together and jam on their musical instruments from the pawnshop for FUN using a tape recorder, 4-track Portastudio and get things rolling by playing shows locally in the Bay Area. Patrick has been eager to do music outside of Band of Asians for a long time such as playing music in a Garage Band so to feed off Patrick Lew's hobbies in Creating Music. Audio Riot is the Answer.

Why did we call the MUSICIANS creating music in the BAND, Audio 2 Riot? Our hobby is music and we just play music at Patrick's house where he has a home recording studio to jam on some stuff on the weekends when school's out at CSU College. We just play MUSIC for FUN! This is just a Jam Band which the music is taken seriously since we all are local musicians and studying music at school/college but we don't need any of that serious stuff for a local band of local musicians yet in the San Francisco music community. We'll get our guitars at the guitar store first and just jam for FUN for now. Before playing shows.
Audio Riot, the bandname came from the musicians' interest/hobby for music (Audio) and playing music as local musicians in a Rock Band to relieve personal hardships such as College, Work, Love & Romance and Etc (Riot). Because playing music makes the musicians and music community happy and liberated. Audio Riot also are music schooled musicians from music school and college who knows musical instruments (every single note!) and despite being ages 20 to 22, can play ROCK N' ROLL music like musicians and bands in their 30s.
Does Audio 2 Riot play live? Not yet. But Patrick has played a variety of live music events locally with Band of Asians and his high school band Silent Minister. Since becoming a local musician at age 14 in 2000 and getting his musical education at guitar school. But once Patrick hires sidemen musicians for Audio Riot, jamming in the home recording studio comes first. Publishing the demo tapes of music they made at home on the Internet through indie music community pages like SoundClick come second. And third, DIY this new band Audio Riot locally by sending out flyers at Amoeba Records, Haight Street and other COOL places for music so we can play a show.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry? Local music community websites like this make it easy for local bands, musicians, rappers, songwriters and DJs to get known. DIY is GREAT.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label? Definitely. Who wouldn't? We can't make MONEY if we don't finish college and our college education. Don't wanna work at McDonalds or retail stores forever you know.
Band History: Met some interesting musicians in City College SF around August 2007. Started sharing similar interests/hobbies in Metal/Punk and MUSIC in general. Hung around a lot at college/school. Patrick plays guitar. Gotten a 64 track MUSIC recording studio software for the Sony computer laptop to record demos around January. Patrick played in a variety of local bands since 2000 and also works on music in his Alternative solo project Band of Asians. But looking for musicians at City College proved to be a pain in the butt as Patrick found too many different musicians whose interest/hobbies couldn't suit to his opportunity to form a COOL Rock Band. So Patrick decided, hey! Go to CSU College and find musicians there. If all else fails! Place an ad in the local music community on Craigslist.org! click to see more on SoundClick
Favorite spot? Patrick Lew: Being with a HOT Asian girl with big boobs and good for SEX on a romantic date in the City watching a movie at Metreon. Being with her playing video games at GameStop. And going to Lollapalooza watching Bad 4 Good and child star Danny Cooksey do their music in concert! Then in bed having SEX at Motel 6 filming a sex tape sold at Chinatown!
Equipment used: Audio 2 Riot USES mostly musical instruments, Portastudios and other musical gear purchased from Guitar Center and OTHER music stores. Cheap musical instruments though!
Anything else...? Audio Riot is Taiwanese grunge musician Patrick Lew's Alternative to Band of Asians' music. Right now, you're visiting Audio Riot's NEW music page on SoundClick. It's a musical project and extracurricular activity for Patrick in music to CREATE music with other musicians who go to his college at SF State University as Patrick's given up on finding local musicians at his soon-to-be former community college @ City College SF. Audio Riot will consist of 3 band members if Patrick finds the musicians at his CSU college after obtaining his CSU Transfer AA college degree @ City College and going to Grad School to focus on his career occupation in music. You could say Audio Riot is a Band of Asians musical offshoot or a RELATED musical project to Band of Asians. Without the Electronics from the Electronic Music Studio and MORE of what Patrick's intentions of playing a musical instrument in a local band are - 1) Grunge Music. 2) Playing Shows. 3) Creating Music in the Band of Asians Studios. 4) Best Friends Forever (the Band Members). click to see more on SoundClick
