First things first: Smart-assery is my forte. If you don't like that, then we won't get along. I've always been one for the more artistic side of life. Without our creative side, everything is dull and lifeless... Contrary to popular belief, the key to happiness is not money, fame, glamour, or "love". It is our own imagination, and with one that has been honed, one can be the happiest man on Earth. This is my most sincere belief. I strongly dislike any form of organized religion, as it is a prime example of the mindless stupidity evident in all human beings. When someone points at the moon, gaze upon the moon, not the finger. I'm generally a very bitter individual and I oftimes find pleasure in others' misfortune. If you ask me, the darker side of life is far more entertaining. It's very difficult to earn my respect, and once you have it, it is easy to lose. When I have little respect for someone, I can be very openly cruel. Because of this, I have always had quite a bit of difficulty making friends. I'm not complaining, mind you, it shaped me into the person I am today. Honesty is another big one for me. If you aren't honest, then you might as well move your ass on over. Honesty can mean many things, but in this case it means telling it how it is in ANY situation. Speak your mind. You have thoughts and a mouth, so use them. There is no room in my life for liars of any sort, even if the truth is harsh, and I am no hypocrite when it comes to this. I can handle the truth, believe me. I guess I will rap it up with the subject of family and friends. Most people will say that their family is their life. I say to hell with that. Family, in my personal experience, is something to overcome. An obstacle, if you will. (Clarification in this is usually necessary: There are certain members of my family that I would consider a friend, not family. Family is there because they are there, not because you want them to be, the way friends are.) Friends, however, are a much different story. The few true friends I have made along the way in this game we call life will forever be the backbone to my existance. I have everything I'll ever need.
