An project from Christina Autumn Lovecraft, formerly from Dead By December consisting of her vocals and brutal honest songwriting and dark yet very intense musicians playing such intense music backing her up. 9 people on a path away from a broken home. Christina comes from a dysfunctional past, one so tormented, she expresses herself honestly when in concert or doing a video. Since breaking up with Dead By December in June 2012 due to personal stress and conflicts with the band mates' lack of commitment in recent months, she took off and cleared her head to find herself in the midst of the conflict. Commitment in music is important when starting a band, and after 12 years and 15 different bands later, Christina met 8 amazing instrumentalists that completes her vision of Asphyxiaphilic Heart, her brutal songwriting and unapologetic honesty, thus allowing the 9-piece hard rock unit to co-exist full-time and the new yet long overdue EP, "Suffocated Soul EP", consisting of 7 songs (now being released as an online exclusive EP only on VampireFreaks.com until further notice has been stated to remaster and revise Suffocated Soul EP) and the band's long-awaited upcoming debut, "10 Years' Silence" consisting of a four-part album - 4 CDs, 10 songs each and a documentary DVD included - will tell stories of her dysfunctional road to Hell and her tortured past as well the path to redemption from her fall from grace, and will talk of addictions and demons, accompanied by haunting cover vocals of favorite songs from influences and original songs written by Christina and singing being supported by her fellow band mates. Together, they will dominate the alternative rock, metal, grunge and Goth scenes once more with the transgendered/genderqueer dysfunctional angel from Hell, Christina Autumn Lovecraft in the picture. Raw, tormented, honest, brutal, haunted, and beautifully tragic, Asphyxiaphilic Heart is here to stay. From a path of bloodied tears and suicidal scars comes an fallen angel wanting to heal from the scars of life.
