Anti-Mechanism is Brian A. and David B. Lance M. Anti-Mechanism is an aggressive electronic band based out of New Jersey formed in 2005. Anti-Mechanism is: Brian Alt (Programming, Lyrics & Vocals) : David Borsky (Programming, Guitar & Live Keys) & : Lance Marxen ( Live Keys). Since the conception of Anti-Mechanism, the band has paved its own path by applying their collective creative output writing songs to cause an effect that are enhanced by their high energy captivating live performances they have become known for. Anti-Mechanism released the five song EP “The Ending Swallows Us Whole,” recorded with producer Xris Flam. The single “Feel in Frames” quickly grabbed the attention of djs, & became a requested live song that propelled the band forward. The EP also caught the attention of Daniel Myer who invited Anti-Mechanism as the main support act for Haujobb on the 2007 “Renegades of Noise” USA tour. Anti-Mechanism continues to generate waves within the industrial scene, & is consistently booked to headline events as well support & perform live alongside noteworthy bands in the past such as Combichrist, Assemblage 23, Aesthetic Perfection, Slick Idiot, Psyclon Nine, Razed in Black, Bile, Hanzel und Gretyl, Android Lust, The Birthday Massacre, E-Craft, Terrorfakt, Destroid, Cyanotic, Dismantled, and was also invited to perform on the main stage at the very first Triton Festival in NYC. Production on a new full length album entitled “Moments Before the Collapse” commenced between live performances & saw the band return again to Mindswerve studios to record with Xris Flam. Written & programmed entirely on hardware, the album took form & expanded Anti-Mechanism’s sound further beyond their prior work. “Moments Before the Collapse” features ten brand new songs comprised of chaotic mid-range distorted synths, relentless punishing beats & the inclusion of aggressive guitars all complimented by orchestrated arrangements. The lyrics form a vision of a civilization on life support, and question the resolution to & possibility of transcending a time designed to fail in the “Moments Before the Collapse.” Anti-Mechanism is releasing “Moments Before the Collapse” on May 13th 2013.
