About Me
| Hi, my name is Alexandria. You may call me Ali or Jimmeh if you like. I am an 18 year old female living in Canada and I enjoy reading, working on my novel and listening to music. I am going to college a mental health and addiction's worker. I am Shamanic and I enjoy talking about political issues and religion if it isn't going to get messy. I am highly opinionated, and take offence to very little. I am pretty easy going, though I am slightly agressive if you don't impress me or if you tick me off. And before you message me - I have my personal beliefs. I am not Christian, and I won't ever be - I am not of any other religion that states I must believe in every single thing they say without thinking. I do not deny nor confirm the existence of god or any other god out there - nor do I confirm or deny the existence of evolution. Both are theories, just as gravity is. What we have are beliefs, not proof, on these topics, and no matter how many times you pull up facts about findings of bones and of religious books, they have not been witnessed personally, therefore they are theories. I merely stick to my personal beliefs - and I will not justify them, nor will I say that I am right and every other theory was/is wrong. Everything is a theory until it is proven, right? Therefore, I will not deny nor confirm anything! I am not here to argue about that. I will respect your beliefs if you respect mine. I am not wrong, nor am I saying I am right. You can talk until you are blue in the face about anything - and I will gladly listen, but it doesn't mean I will agree. Here are some of the things I believe in: -There is life after death. -Evolution and creationism seem possible - why can't we believe in both? -I do not believe in the supernatural, OTHER than "spirits". -I like science - I agree with most of it, other than its "theories". -I like religions - I dislike how you need to follow them mindlessly. -I like "pastafarianism". -I am prolife AND pro-choice - I believe in letting people do what they want, no matter how detremental it is to their life. -I believe in freedom and equal opportunity -I don't believe one gender is better than the other - both are great at different things. (yes, I realize men can't have children, but seriously, how many every day women do you know that can do a grunt work job? - we are not talking about exceptions here) -I believe in the right to race, religion, beliefs, gender, age, and intelligence. If you can't spell something, I am not going to mind. -I don't believe in ANY form of descrimination, no matter how well it applies to someone. -I believe in a right to a sense of humour, and to personal opinions and thoughts. Please, don't yell at me. I am who I am. And you are who you are. I cannot ask for anyone to be anyone else. So don't do that of me. |

| Metal. Enough said, I believe. Some of my favourite bands include: Cradle of Filth, Scar Symmetry, Arch Enemy, Ozzy, Alice Cooper, 16 Volt, Type O Negative, Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Tarja, Nightwish, Nu Pagadi, Three Days Grace, Within Temptation, NIN, The Rasmus, On/Off, Apocalyptica... the list goes on. Then I like odd music such as Elvis, Chris De Burgh, and Bon Jovi (when they were old...and not country), Boney M, and Johnny Cash. |
