I am but a half of who i really am inside;half of me is hidden away, waiting just out of distance. The other me was ripped away too soon and too suddenly. I miss her... The part of me that lives is just trying to fill a gap that is too widespread. Every day i see the world with two hearts; one that is living, and one that has died. I want to see tomorrow, but every day living is just one more struggle for my already breaking body. For some reason, i am still among the living and until the day i can no longer draw breath i will be looking. However, i still do not know just what it is i am searching for. I know the answers lie beyond this place, but it would be nice to have some sense of knowing, rather then walking into this blindfolded and shackled. Fate already has her bloodied hand on me, and i know the lords of death all too well;but with the knowledge and familiarity i can step out of the shadows and make my presence known. I have two souls residing in half a body, but i will make due with the dice i am given. My best friend is my 6 year old Egyptian Arabian gelding, Anu. He is my horse, and i his human. Together, we total one. We share a bond that is only know tho those who have given themselves over to an equine.He is my baby, my beautiful, amazing, and special boy. Together, we can jump the moon, and travel any trail. I trust him with my life, and he trusts me in turn. And none without a looking glass may see me I am but a faceless artist, none but the pen with which i write. my heart is dictated upon page, laid plain for all to witness. but between the lines lie my personality, the unwritten person i wish to be. I am the poet with no voice, with words spinning around my head, whispering to me as i try to sleep. it hurts too much to try to speak, when love dies on your lips. Animals. They are closer to being my true family then anyone has ever been. I know their hearts and minds, and they know mine. There is no need for idle talk with one of them;they already can hear what you are thinking, and you already know their response. Even two human lovers cannot share that same level of intimacy that is unspoiled by lies and falsities. I am closest to my real home when my animals are besides me;it is then i can be who i am inside without having to play pretend for the sake of anyone else. It is refreshing, to be with those who do not judge you and who only speak the truth.

I have a special hatred for those who are unable to be honest to others, or themselves. Confusion is understandable, but when you know you are lying;admit to it and rectify the situation. You will be a better person for it. I also dislike people who are willing to sacrifice anything in order to get ahead;while advancement is wonderful it cannot be had at the price of another person. The taker of death is not one i am fond of, although he is just as present as the bringer of life.I can respect his power,but i am unable to accept the loss of those i hold dear. I flat out condone abuse; no one deserves to be hurt, especially someone as innocent as a child. I am an understanding person;however i can never forgive one who is able to strike another with malice in their heart, and with the intention to make another suffer greatly.
