I'm a Digital Artist, and I have my shit together.
Here, Let me elaborate:
Where Am I Now? I'm living in New York City as the Graphic And Web Designer for the largest distributor of online video in the country, Broadband Enterprises. I design media players, campaigns, branding and consult with the biggest names (Sony, Nintendo, American Express, Coca Cola, New Line Cinema, Microsoft, etc.) I'm twenty-one years young, and I was swept away here when I graduated college. I've now been living on my own in the city for a while now: Kicking ass and taking names.
Who Am I Now? You'll notice I have a TON of side-projects, and I'm always thinking of new ideas and ways to further evolve my creativity. I've been told I'm the "guy who wants to do everything", and that's pretty much the truth. I know what I want, and I know how to get it. Some people call that cocky, but those people are normally the ones who aren't out there, following their hearts. Their loss, I guess! I'm also SINGLE, outgoing, but laid back at the same time. I'm very future-oriented: I don't like doing anything unless it moves my life forward and upward, and if anybody tries to prioritize themselves over my dreams, they don't come along for the ride. I'm a serious video-gamer, movie-critic, music-lover, and media-junkie. If you want my opinion, you'll get it. If you don't want my opinion...you'll most likely get it. I'm just Adam, no strings attached, no hidden motives. Nice to meet you.
To What Do I Jam? I listen to just about anything. I will admit, metal and certain electronica send me into a state of euphoria, but I'm down with just about whatever you can throw at me. I'm a musician and I sing (check out my music page when you have a chance), so I have a mutual respect for anybody who's out there doing what they love.
Food Food Food: Chicken wings and Sushi for the win! But then again, I'm one of those guys who goes out of his way to find new and interesting foods on which to chow down. It's an easy hobby to have in the city, considering there are more independent eating establishments here than chain restaurants.
Let's Talk About Love: The perfect woman for my life is one that will build a world with me, and never allow herself to build her world above mine, but right next to it. Who understands that life always happens on life's terms, and love finds a way of working itself out in the end. Someone I can laugh, joke, love, run-to, cry, and fight with. Needless to say, I'm a bit of a romantic and I'm not afraid to show it...if you're lucky ;). It's a beautiful thing when that kind of chemistry takes off, and I look forward to seeing that 'perfect love' take flight one day.
Translation by my brother, Tipper: "You want a girl who won't make you her emotional tampon."
Religion (uh oh): Through years of watching the way people live their lives (for better or worse), I've come to the conclusion that there is no conclusion. We're simply here because we're here--People have a very hard time coming to grips with that. We live together, fight together, die together, creating our own destinies, and living by our own internal rules. Personally, I don't like the idea of knowing that I'm not in complete control of the world around me. There's something about having a firm grasp on the universe that gets my heart racing and stands my hair on-end. Besides, if I were to say that I believed in any religion in particular, that would mean that I've concluded that every other religion is dead wrong....and I'm not nearly pompous, arrogant, or 'almighty' enough to admit something like that.
Pet Peeves: - Girls who rely on their man to provide all of the "nurturing" in a relationship. It works both ways. We no longer live in the 1940s, and I have no time for your insecurities.
- Girls who are completely intolerant of video games because of a past experience with a guy who wouldn't put down the controller for the naked beauty draped over the bed, begging for passionate love-making. It's because of your generalizations that I have to be timid to admit that I'm a serious gamer on a first date XD.
- Jealousy: It does horrible things to people. It turns friends against each other, and can turn your head into a very ugly place to be.
- People who say things like "That sucked!": No, that movie/song/anything didn't necessarily suck, YOU just didn't like it. Own your feelings, and stop forcing the rest of the world into your head.
- Rednecks: Please, just stop reproducing....please. The South lost, let it be. "Why have an alarm system when we've got three perfectly good Pit-bulls right here!?! YEE HAW!!!"
-Macho, Tough-Guy, Guido-Ass New Yorkers: The "Rednecks of the North", as far as I'm concerned. Rude, obnoxious, and intolerant of anything that doesn't have big "jugs" and a round ass. The thing that sucks is, if you say anything intelligent or witty back to their audacious banter, they will not hesitate to kick your ass with the muscles they have vigorously acquired to make up for a lack of genuine personality.
That's it. That's about all of me, at least for right now, at least what I can think of. Life hits me head-on, harder and harder every day. I look forward to taking you with me.
Beautiful pics, and I loved the videos--especially "Hitting on Women." XD But the *10 isn't for your looks, or even for making me laugh. It's for following your heart, getting things done, and being an inspiration for me to do the same. What's NY like?
