WHORES OF BABYLON Was formed in 1992, signed in 1993 and by 1994 had released the album `Metropolis` on Candlelight records. Portishead did a remix of a song on that album in 1993. In 1996 Whores released `Kumari` in the Portuguese `Skyfall` label and in 1998 The Whores changed their name to `SOUNDISCIPLES` and in 1999 released `Undefined` on the `Music for Nations / Peaceville` labels. During that year touring with PITCHSHIFTER and PARADISE LOST. Although SOUNDISCIPLES are still around. The Whores of Babylon was reformed in 2002 by founder member Gobz, some live studio recordings were made that year and new material is in the pipeline in 2006. In 2006 Gobz will release the next Whores & Soundisciples albums on his own new record label ( LoveGun records ). During the years we have worked with the likes of Postishead, Gizz Butt from the Prodigy and Gobz nephew has recently joined the Sisters of Mercy.
