Profile: (Scroll down for English version if you do not understand French) Salutations. Je m'appelle Louis, mais je préfère mon nom de scène, Abaudahdine, ou mon surnom, Nabo. On comprend pourquoi ce surnom quand on connaît ma taille : 5'6". Bien que certains puisse trouver ceci conformiste, oui, je l'avoue, je me considère comme étant gothique romantique. Mais précisons : gothique romantique dans le même sens où Nerval était considéré romantique ou Voltaire était considéré Lumière. C'est déjà mieux, non? heh heh... Musicien passionné, je suis "vocaliste" dans un groupe (ce serait faux de dire chanteur quand la majorité du temps je ne fais que gueuler et m'abîmer les cordes vocales, tout comme ce serait faux de dire gueuleur quand je fais aussi des chants opératiques...) de Montréal en plus d'être parolier (j'écris mes propres chansons depuis mes 14 ans). De personnalité, je suis un être de contradictions, de paradoxes et de contrastes, à une exception près : je suis foncièrement BON et ne déroge jamais à cette règle. C'est une des raisons pourquoi plusieurs personnes, incluant moi-même, me considèrent comme étant l'Ange Gardien de certaines (ayant plus d'affinités avec la gente féminine, je n'ai que des "protégées") Depuis déjà quelques années, je fais tout ce qui est en mon possible afin d'arriver à un niveau quasi-surhumain, je tente de me détacher de cette pure imperfection qu'est la race humaine. Par tous les moyens, je tente de m'élever au-dessus de toute imperfection, signe méprisable de mon appartenance à cette humanité maudite. Bref, je tente de m'élever au-dessus de l'Homme. Philosophe dans l'âme, je crois profondément en la pensée marxiste (ou du moins l'interprétation que j'en fais), plus particulièrement la philosophie marxiste-guévarienne. Puriste avoué, j'exècre les posers, les "wanna be", particulièrement dans la musique (*tousse tousse* néo-métal *tousse tousse*). On me dit compréhensif (mais pas toujours!), sympathique, non-violent, que j'ai une bonne écoute et un bon sens de l'humour, que je suis intelligent (mais pas nécessairement brillant lol), profond, très romantique, très poétique et charmeur (mais pas nécessairement charmant!) et que j'ai une très bonne plume, mais aussi colérique, rageur, soupe au lait, nerveux, indépendant, extrémiste, et intolérant.Hail. My name is Louis, though I prefer my stage name, Abaudahdine, or my nickname, Nabo (which means, in French, kind of a dwarf). One can understand why this nickname when one knows my height : 5'6" (Yes, I am fun-sized!). Even if some may find this conformist, well, I admit it, I consider myself as being romantic gothic. But let us specify : romantic gothic in the same sense as Nerval was considered romantic. That is already better, isn't it? heh heh... Passionated musician, I was vocalist (it would be inacurate to say singer, since most of the time, I scream like hell, just like it would be inacurate to say screamer, since I also do some operatic vocals...) in a Montréal band in addition to writing the lyrics (I have been writing song since the age of 14). For the sole purpose of music, I also try to learn how to pronounce difficult and "exotic" languages, such as Norwegian and Faeroese (I began learning some traditional Faeroese chorus, it's pretty hard, but it sounds so nice! The song is Regin Smiður, which means "Regin Blacksmith") I am one of paradoxes and nuances, except for one thing : I am basically GOOD and never betray this personal rule. This is one of the reasons why some, including myself, consider me as some girls' Guardian Angel (having more affinities with ladies, I have only female "protégées") For a few years, I have been striving to achieve a level beyond human imagination, I dream to be set apart of this pure imperfection called humankind. By all means, I strive to overcome any flaw, scornable sign of my belonging to cursed humanity. In other words, I strive to set myself apart (and above) Mankind. Philosopher in soul, I strongly believe in the marxist-guevarian ideology. Admitted purist, I despise posers and wanna be's, especially in music (*cough cough* neo-metal *cough cough*). They describe me as comprehensive (but not always!), sympathical, peaceful, intelligent (but not necessarly bright! lol), spiritual, very romantic, very poetic, charming and they also say I have a good writing, but I am also raging, sometimes short-tempered, nervous, independant, extremist et intolerant. Oh et j'ai mentionné la musique? Music, politics, poetry, music, international actuality, music, ocult sciences, theology, music, computer... Les posers, les "wanna be"'s, emo, superficialité, l'exploitation, le manque de morale (ce qui inclut énormément de choses); bref, la nature humaine... Oh et ce que je déteste le plus au monde : me faire niaiser par une machine. Humanity... posers, wanna be's, emo, superficiality, exploitation, lack of moral (which includes lots and lots of things), well, human nature... Oh, and what I hate the most : when a machine is "laughing at me"... grrr!  Favorite Music: Mainly TRUE Metal (I hate false Metal and Neo or Nu-Metal...), but I'm still selective, I prefer melodic Metal... Blues and Classical music.
