Filmaker/animator, artist, songwriter Sean C. Cook is the director behind A Necropolitan Opera. N.O. is what happens when one finds beauty in the darkness, and hope in that beauty. The music of N.O. is as contagious as it is strangely alluring. Nec_Op is currently in the studio recording a new album called "Vaudevillain," which should be out by this summer. Nec_Op has deviated away from the ecclectronica style of synth-rock that has been prevailant in his current catalog. Now with more funky bass, harder beats, and Vaudevillian atmospherics, Nec_Op is setting the scene for a steampunk future. Currently a brand new music video for "In Dark Dreams" is viewable here.
