About Me
“ABiCA” is a group with members Tac and Hash. They began making music in 2001 with another MC named CANT (who left the group in 2005 to pursue a solo career). Together, the three made an underground cd and gained a solid local fan base. Tac and Hash continued to write songs in their own unique style. Although their music is mainly influenced by hip hop, its intensity suggests the presence of a rock influence as well. Their 2007 album entitled “Truth In Lies” is one of their most lyrically advanced albums to date, and featured some of the underground's biggest up-and-coming artists. This was ABiCA truly finding themselves; a solid mix of entertaining and serious tracks prevent the album from ever getting stale. The album features production from ABiCA, as well as other well known producers, including DHZ (formerly a producer for DMX and Fort Minor). After TIL, Enigma was released in early 2008. After receiving critic and fan praise for Truth In Lies, ABiCA once again had to raise the bar with Enigma. A fan favorite with its edgy, yet insightful view of the world and their experiences. Enigma took off where TIL (Truth In Lies) left off, by taking you even further into the minds of Tac and Hash. The Hard-hitting duo ABiCA, have once again secluded themselves in the studio working on their third studio album in as many years. The album embodies a more organic and rock oriented sound then their previous efforts. "How Much Can You Take" the first song released from ABiCA’s upcoming album was released in Oct. of 2008 and was met with an overwhelming positive response from fans. ABiCA has recently made a name for itself with energetic live shows with such acts as Insane Clown Posse, Three Six Mafia, Hed pe, Potluck and Ice-T; and as the daily Herald put it, its their “catchy, professional tunes delivered from a blunted, middle-fingers-high suburban stance.” Since their inception ABiCA has set out to establish there own unique style that people can relate to. They have truly succeeded in producing a sound like nothing else out there. Check back for some new tracks. Coming early 2009 Peace!
