Profile: I first and foremost wish to welcome you to my li'l corner of VampireFreaks.com, so ... 'sup!? My name is Matthew, but you can call me Matt. I'm 24 y/o and I'm a Lakeland, FL native. I'm a hopeless romantic who still believes in the existence, power, and fate of a "one true love", even in this contemporary age dominated by depressing statistics and Jerry Springer like "normalcy" within relationships. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I trust and forgive WAY to easily. I'm a sensitive, caring, and empathetic soul misplaced in (what often appears to be) a dissimilar world filled with daily antitheses. I still believe in humankind and KNOW that we can change for the better one day, IF WE SINCERELY TRY. I live near downtown Lakeland at the Ashford Inn Extended Stay off of E Memorial Blvd. Been here 7 months and I absolutely LOVE it! A great place to live. I don't do any drugs (except a lil 420 every now n' then). I don't have many friends, but the friends that I do have I'm VERY loyal to. I've known my close friends for many years and would rather have no friends than tons of fake ones. Well, I'm not planning on writing an exhaustive "About Me", so ... the best way to get to know me better is to become personally acquainted with me. If you want to try your luck and befriend me (or maybe even start something deeper), I promise you that your choice to do so will NOT be in vain. I look forward to meeting many a new friend, and even more so, my soul mate, my shooting star. 'Till then ... The word speaks for itself ... duh, lol.); Coca-Cola / Sprite / Mountain Dew ... just soda in general (I'm a sodaholic if you must know the truth); ANY Italian food; Indian / Pakistani food; Mexican food (does anybody see a trend arising here? Hold on for about half an hour while I go appease my roaring appetite, 'ight. BRB .......................................................................................30 mins later....................................................................................... OK, thanks for bearing with me everyone; I feel MUCH better now!); XD Blue Bell Ice Cream (the best fuckin' store-bought ice cream in the USA, P.E.R.I.O.D.); watching movies (especially good horrors / thrillers and Romance. I usually view my flicks online through "http://www.1channel.ch/" and most are in DVD quality too! Now THAT'S a good video streaming website if you ask me!); listening to the ol' iPod whilst exploring the town or whilst analyzing the purpose given my sad existence; my glasses (because without these life-savers, the world would appear even more distorted and confusing than it already does for me with them ON!); being a good friend and helping those in need, if able; the History Channel / the Discovery Channel / the Food Network Channel; philosophy / religious study; bicycle riding through the "Fort Fraser Trail"; swimming; Girls (oh, sorry; I already mentioned that one already, didn't I, lol); the "Bloody Mary Worth" legend / mirror "game"; and on, and on, and ... well, you get the point. I can't possibly list EVERY like I have now, can I, lol?Dislikes: People who display ignorance even whilst staring directly in the face of opposing, well researched, fact; romantic infidelity; liars & thieves; racism; "old fools"; drug addicts; an extremist practicing ANY religion or philosophy who will not tolerate different views whilst in a free country & who will try to make you feel inferior for not believing the same as they, even though we're BOTH in that FREE country (toleration and acceptance are two different things. e.g. Even though I don't ACCEPT homosexuality, I still TOLERATE it, because myself and homosexuals / bisexuals both live in liberty, here in the good ol' USA.); menudo soup; my OCD; OMG ... freaking rap music; the pain of heartbreak, loss, and death; the "American Cockroach" & the "Florida Woods Cockroach / Palmetto Bug" (I have a BIG phobia of them!); Drama-filled people who try to bring theirs into yours; the "Bloody Mary Worth" legend / mirror "game"; and on, and on, and on ...Favorite Music: Emo (especially acoustic); metalcore; alternative rock; and some good ol' country. My favorite bands / songs are few and far between. I'm VERY picky with my music and I'd rather listen to air than to something that I don't absolutely adore or that doesn't manage to stimulate my emotional core.
