I am a internal void inside your mind, the darkness it which crawls within, the chill that crawls down your spine. A call forth to darkness, a pain in which never ends, the sadness in your soul, the shadow that haunts your dreams. The bringer of pain, death, suffering, sarrow, and hatred, I am thee Abyss! To kill is not to sin, to kill is to rid of life to make room for a new one to start. If I must feel pain because of the world, then the world shall feel pain because of me. A single death is a tragedy; a million deaths is a statistic. Battle not with monsters lest ye become a monster and if you gaze into the abyss the abyss gazes into you. The sad truth is that most evil is done by people who never make up their minds to be good or evil. It is always good men who do the most harm in the world. Nobody is more dangerous than he who imagines himself pure in heart, for his purity, by definition, is unassailable. The belief in a supernatural source of evil is not necessary; men alone are quite capable of every wickedness. He who does not punish evil, commands it to be done. When choosing between two evils, I always like to try the one I've never tried before. Man is neither angel nor brute, and the misfortune is that he who would act the angel acts the brute. In this world everything changes except good deeds and bad deeds; these follow you as the shadow follows the body.
