My name is Valerie. I like to be known as Val. I'm a Canadian chick from Ontario. I used to have my snake bites pierced, but retired them in July of '08. In the past I'd dyed my hair almost every colour under the sun and I was always looking for new ones. I've finally settled with black, though I get antsy and sometimes want to do it orange or pink again. :p I do dabble in drugs and drinking now and then. I'm not going to lie. But I'm not by any means a junkie, addict, or any of the like. On that subject, I do not smoke cigarettes. I never have, never will, and don't see the pleasure anyone derives from that activity. Normally I'm full of sarcasm and dirty looks, but get to know me and that dies down a little. If you can break through that wall, then you're friend worthy ^_^. I'm a certified graduate of Culinary Chef Training from Niagara College, and love what I do. If you wanna chat, message me with something worth saying, and you'll get a reply.
I'm a pretty quiet person, and I'm pretty shy when I first get to know someone, but I tend to open up after a bit. I've had my hair dyed almost every colour of the rainbow, as well as had a few piercings and all that, but they've been retired. I still have yet to get my first tattoo, but it's been in planning for the last few years.
When it comes to music, I'm open to pretty much anything. I'll give anything a chance. Lately I've been listening to a mix of The Kills, Buddy Holly, The White Stripes, Rammstein and The Drifters.

No matter how much I claim not to be girly, I have a ridiculious giggle and love clothes.
I'm seriously addicted to changing my hair.

I get along better with guys than I do with girls.
I talk to my cat when no one's home.
I get bored easily, but love going on random adventures.
I rarely ever get pimples.
My hair never does what I want it to.
I'm exceptionally nervous around people I don't know.
I love camping.
I wish I had pink dreads.
I will never be plain.
I'm addicted to online shopping.
Swings make me nauseous.
I have a post-it obsession.
The noise the vacuum makes gets me sketchy.
